"With CRCE's experienced (+20 years) HR/Recruitment expert, my 1-1 session was brilliant. I was listened to & my Resume was looked over. Advise given stated that what I had done in my professional capacity was not what reflected in my Resume.
Within days my revamped Resume was sent to me (I was in disbelief reading my work history - so professional to my original writing!) and I was now armed and ready to apply for positions. Within 1 week of sending out, I had my first interview and 2 weeks later a job offer. Fast and professional service. I have recommended many and the feedback I receive is similar to mine." "I've taken 3 classes: the resume writing class, the LinkedIn course and a private resume consultation. I found all the classes extremely informative. They are very well suited for anyone that wants to either re-enter the workforce, or just brush up on their skills to ensure they remain competitive. We were members, but we didn't renew our membership because we are moving home to the United States." Jennifer Lowery (2016)
The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® (MBTI®) looks at the four dichotomies that make up a person’s basic personality and assesses the individual’s preference for one side of the dichotomy or the other.
- This results in a 4 letter personality “type.” Each of the 16 possible types reflects a personality with a specific preference for finding energy, taking in information, making decisions, etc., in their personal and professional lives.
- It’s a useful for understanding yourself and how to more effectively deal with other people.
- It’s used by most Fortune 100 companies and by over 2 million people in 70+ countries for over 70 years.
Individuals will first take an online assessment, followed by 90-minute one-on-one session that covers understanding and applying your MBTI® results. Once you sign up for the session, you will receive the information via email on taking the online assessment. After you complete the online assessment, you will be contacted to schedule your in-person session. If you'd like to book a session, please contact email@example.com to schedule a meeting. Cost: $250 for CRCE members; $300 for non members.
For Jobseekers OR Anyone Looking To Reinvent Themselves: MBTI® can be useful in terms of considering what are common careers or roles for people with your same type. While it doesn’t assess skills or indicate if you would excel in a particular career, it indicates various work environments and career paths/professions that could be satisfying. Additionally, knowing your type and potential blind spots, can help with things such as interview preparation.
