My name is Matthew Rock and I am currently working toward my Eagle Rank with BSA Troop 07, in Singapore. For my Eagle Project I am collecting donations for the Chres Village School and Orphanage in the Siem Reap Province of Cambodia. Collection boxes can be found at Singapore American School in the High School and Middle School offices. I am collecting the following items:
- new and gently used clothes for kids 5 yrs - 18 yrs of age
- school supplies such as pencils, pens, markers, crayons, etc.
Collection dates are November 3 - November 20. If you have items to donate and are unable to drop them by the school, please contact me at mattrock@ymail.com to arrange pick-up.
About Boy Scouts
The American Association of Singapore is proud to sponsor Troop 07 of the Boy Scouts of America. Troop 07 meets Tuesday evenings at The American School and holds outings around South Asia several times a year as well as our annual “summer camp” during Spring Break.
Through Scouting, Scouts learn life skills such as leadership, responsibility and self-confidence while having fun. Troop 07 is a boy led unit with adult leader direction. Empowering boys to be leaders is the core of Scouting.
Check out the latest troop activities at: http://bsatroop07.org
Open to all male US Citizens and males of other nationalities attending international schools, aged 11-18. Older males, and females, may join as adult volunteers.

Dens (smaller groups of 8—10 boys meet regularly at their school or leaders’ homes to learn Scouting ways and fulfill badge and rank requirements.
