Using MBTI to Jump Start Your Job Search

Are you job seeking or considering a career change, but are unsure of the type of work or environment that would potentially be satisfying?  Do you find things such as interview preparation, and/or planning for and executing on the job searching process challenging?  Knowing the foundation of your personality type can help!

What is Myers Briggs Type Indicator®?

The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® (MBTI®) is a simple assessment that looks at the four dichotomies that make up a person’s basic personality.  Each of the 16 possible types reflects a personality with a specific preference for finding energy, taking in information, making decisions, etc.  At its core, the goal of knowing about personality type is to understand and appreciate the differences between people.  Knowing what drives you and what your potential blindspots are can help you to be more effective in your personal and professional life.

Key Take-Aways from this Workshop:

  • Learn about MBTI® and personality type.
  • Determine your “Best Fit” four letter type.
  • Gain a better understanding about yourself and how to more effectively deal with other people to strive ahead personally and/or professionally

  • Pick up tips to help you execute your job search and address potential challenges based on your type.
