Earth Day Weekend Coastal Clean-up



AAS Members and Friends! Want to be a part of 100 Acts of Charity? Join this volunteering opportunity organized by the Nature Society (Singapore) on Earth Day weekend. Clean up the Mandai Mudflats and benefit the wildlife that thrives there. 

Mandai Mudflats is a stretch of coastline named as an Important Bird and Biodiversity Area. It serves as a feeding area for wading birds and a habitat for horseshoe crabs.

To participate:

  • Register on the AAS website so that we know to expect you.
  • You are also required to register for the event through the Nature Society here: http://tinyurl.com/nssccreg

On the day:

  • Details on the exact meetup point will be emailed to all registrants one week prior to the clean-up. The location will be in the Mandai area.
  • Please look for our AAS representative at the meetup point. Holly Kreutter, AAS Membership Manager, will be wearing an AAS shirt. Her contact details can be found in your registration confirmation letter.
