Welcome Back Celebration
The Welcome Back Celebration is about reconnecting after a long school holiday break. From 1995 to 2007, this event took the form of a jazz night in Fort Canning Park and then became a music in the park night from 2008-2009. Of late, the family-focused event has been held at the Terror Club, The American Club, the Singapore Flyer, BOUNCE trampoline park and other family-friendly venues.

Details
Start your morning at the brand new Collin's restaurant located outside the park entrance. Set on lush grounds, everyone will have a great time eating and taking in the views. The kids can enjoy playing at the amazing playground right outside the restaurant, too! Get a bird-themed face paint brought to you by International Medical Clinic and show your pearly whites at the photo booth sponsored by Expat Dental. Everyone will walk away with a goodie bag. Have even more fun in the park with the special scavenger hunt brought to you by our title sponsor XCL American Academy (XAA). And there will be a lucky draw, too! Score!
The goodie bag includes a water bottle, binoculars, a $50 Lawry's the Prime Rib voucher and more!

About Mandai Bird Paradise
Mandai Bird Paradise just opened in May and it's Asia's largest bird park, home to 3,500 birds across 400 species. Wow, right? Located right next to the zoo, this place is absolutely gorgeous. There are waterfalls, fascinating exhibits, and, of course, spectacular birds! You'll love walking through the eight, immersive aviaries, each reflecting a different biome of birds. Feast your eyes on some of the world's most amazing birds from Flamingos to Hornbills to Cassowaries to birds you've never heard of. Whole flocks of Macaws might even fly overhead! This place is magical for kids and adults alike. Truly, it's a special place and it's right here in Singapore.

Rain or Shine Event
The park is built with many covered walkways which protects against super sunny days as well as Singapore's downpours. If it does rain, bring an umbrella for the areas that aren't covered. And wear shoes with good traction as the walkways can get a wee bit slippery.
