Food Drive with AAS and Stamford American International School

Food is a basic human right that most of us don't need to worry about. However it may come as a surprise to many that even in an affluent country such as Singapore, 1 in 10 Singaporeans are food insecure. Food Insecurity is the state of being unable to afford sufficient quantity of affordable or nutritious food.

Please join the American Association of Singapore and Stamford American International School in this worthy cause of donating food to Food Bank Singapore that will benefit the needy in various types of homes, family service centers, soup kitchens, and other voluntary welfare organizations.

ITEMS REQUIRED:

Please donate the following food items that are unopened, unused, and with at least four weeks of shelf life:

1. Halal Spreads - Nutella, Jam and Kaya

2. Halal Biscuits

3. Bee Hoon/Vermicelli/Mee Sua

4. Hot Beverages - Milo and Coffee

6. Halal Canned Items - Sardine, Chicken, Canned Soup

7. Halal Rolled Oats

Other food items are also welcome. Moving house soon or traveling for the school holidays? This is a great opportunity to clean our your cabinets!
