Struggling to get your kids off their bums this school holiday!? Get them to give you just 30 minutes of their time, so we can help you convince them that working out can be fun!
The American Associationof Singapore, together with UFIT, is bringing you a half-hour virtual bootcamp to get your kids moving and give them a great cardio workout for FREE! UFIT bootcamp coach and yoga instructor Aly Rauff, who is fantastic with kids, will teach them simple exercises to get their heart rate up and to challenge their stamina. This is a great intro to UFIT course, giving your kids a taste of the kind of fun activities that UFIT offers for them. What’s more, they can take advantage of this opportunity from the comfort of your home – meaning, not having to manage pick up and drop off for this one!!
UFIT has activities for kids aged 6 to 18, including the Sports for Life Program, which runs after school during term time with an aim to build a base of life skills that are critical to future development. The program is a specific pathway for kids' health and fitness, based on their age group, athletic ability, and personal goals. Sports for Life also runs as day and weekly camps during the school holidays with games and activities such as football, rugby, cricket and capture the flag, which will not only develop a variety of skills, but also give children the opportunity to explore and discover fun new sports.
UFIT’s next available camp is a one-day camp on National Day (August 9th) for ages 6 to 15. The next Sports for Life weekly program will then start on August 16th, for 6 to 18 year olds at UFIT’s Fairmont, Orchard and One North gyms.
