Build your Resilience: reduce impulsivity for calm effectiveness personally & at work

At one time or another we all have felt out of control of our emotions, over-reacting in a way which was not appropriate. As a parent, a spouse, a colleague or a leader, our emotional outbursts or “inbursts” are remembered far longer than all the good things we do and can ruin our career.

Impulse control is a critical competency for effective leadership and team collaboration.  According to EQ experts Daniel Goleman and Daniel Boyatzis, people appointed to the position of CEO display self-control seven times more frequently than those passed over for the position.

In this interactive session, you will understand how our emotional system operates and learn some simple steps to master self control and stay calm and effective in adverse situations.
