In this thought provoking session Alka Chandiramani will inspire us to start asking Better Questions to release potential in others. If you ask a better question, you will find a better answer. We spend too much time telling others what to do and unknowingly prevent them from being resourceful. In today's fast paced environment we are consistently brain dumped, this inhibits people in finding the answers within themselves. How does this impact us as individuals, as parents and/or leaders in our own capacities? Come and learn more about Asking Better Questions to facilitate the change in your Life!
In this workshop you will be introduced to:
- asking better questions
- understand the benefits of asking vs telling as a preferred mode of communication
- recognise unconscious patterns of response
All participants will receive a copy of Lindsay Tighe's inspiring book, The Answer- Improve Your Life By Asking Better Questions. Lindsay Tighe lives in Australia, however, she will also be at the workshop that morning. Don't miss the chance to meet her and learn more about Alka's launch of the Better Parents Ask Better Questions workshop later in the year.
"Many thanks to Lindsay and you for the very interesting workshop that for sure ignited my interest to ask better questions to the others but also to myself! I am very proud to be part of your inaugural group and please do not hesitate to contact me if you need my support. In my work plan for the near future, I will try to be more conscious which is the very first step that I learnt this morning, to ask open-ended questions and change very bad habits I have like constantly interrupting people when they speak… This workshop was a first step to start changes in my life!" CRCE Member, Caroline Verley, 17 Nov 2015
“I found the Asking Better Questions workshop to be surprisingly useful in a wide variety of circumstances. The concept of “potentialising” myself and others by improving the way I think about the question process can be used as a writer, as a manager, as a wife and mother… the list goes on. I will never think about questions the same way again!” Faith Chanda, 17 Nov 2015
"What you are doing is good & meaningful work and I hope that more people will come to learn about the importance of asking better questions." Lyn Wong, 17 Nov 2015
