The devastating death of my brother in my early teenage years triggered the start of a series of pivot points that would take me from a protected teenager to a bold, fearless leader. Hungry and ready to take on new challenges, Pivot Points is the story of my leadership journey and skill sets I’ve learnt that shaped me professionally and personally. The twists and turns along the journey allowed me to indulge and explore my personal frontier in a transformative way Unknown to me at that particular point, the turns I took at each of the pivot brought a deep new discovery, learning and skill set, enriched with new relationships. As an ambitious career woman with a son, the early struggles of coping with motherhood evolved into the most profound joy when I uncovered a deep reconnection and spent real time with people I loved the most. I believe things happen for a reason and we all have pivot points in our life. My story is to inspire and encourage professionals to recognize the pivot points in their own life and embrace it as a sign to uncover something new; I believe there is a hidden vault in us, waiting to be discovered.
