Home Hospitality

Serving US Military Service Men and Women

The American Association of Singapore, alongside our Sister American community organizations, is proud to present Home Hospitality in support of our military service men and women. Our Sister Orgs are the organizations that we founded during our storied history.

  • American Women’s Association (then American Women’s Auxiliary)  (1935)

  • The American Club (1948)

  • Singapore American School  (1956)

  • American Chamber of Commerce (then American Business Committee) (1969)

  • Singapore American Community Action Council  (SACAC)  (1973)

  • Boy Scouts of America Troop 07 (1986)

  • American Dragons dragon boat team (2005)

Together, we provide a simple program that is vastly impactful: AAS member families of all nationalities living in Singapore host visiting American service personnel while their ships are docked here.

Some hosts offer a home cooked meal while other families instead pick a local eatery where they can meet-up and share a bite.  Friendly faces and warm conversation are greatly appreciated by those who have been spending their time at sea! This program provides our sailors a brief reminder of "family" while in Singapore

Please note that Home Hospitality is day and evening only. Overnight accommodations are never required.
