Volunteering Opportunities

American Association of Singapore members may be involved in volunteering with CARE to make a difference!

The volunteering is very much depending on the staff’s interests, skillsets and time availability.  We will work with the volunteers to co-create mutually beneficial volunteer experiences that are impactful and helpful for CARE students as well as worthwhile and meaningful for volunteers.

Volunteers can choose to serve in either:

  • Organisational Support (Fundraising, IT support, marketing, PR, editing, professional skills, etc)
  • Student Engagement

Incentive-based, ie, movies, meals, gifts, visit to places of interest, etc

Interest-driven, ie, attending sports/arts events, archery, cycling, hobby crafts, balloon sculpting, etc

Skills Learning ie, sports or arts based workshops, baking, cooking, financial skills, music & drama, photography, high elements obstacle courses, etc

Service & Giving, ie community service-learning projects serving very young children, the sickly, elderly, etc

Mentoring, require long-term commitment, goal-oriented, high demand on time.
