Ambassadors Cup

Golf Tournament

Held since 1947, the Ambassador’s Cup Golf Tournament is the longest, continually running golf event in Singapore. The tournament only paused for WWII and Covid. All to say, this tournament is special! It’s known as a really fun event, which is why players and sponsors return year after year.

As a Texas Scramble format, players of all levels are welcome.

The Basics

Depending on where the tournament is held, golfers are either transported to the course or arrive just before lunchtime. A buffet lunch is provided before golfers head out to the course and get in place for a shotgun start. After finishing 18 rounds, players are treated to dinner and live music, as well as an awards ceremony.

The Ambassador’s Cup is a charity event.

Every year, we donate the money raised from Beat the Pro and the sale of mulligans to a local charity, typically between $7,500 and $10,000.

Golfers typically receive the following, though some items are subject to change depending on year-to-year sponsorship:

  • Goodie Bag

  • Shirt & Cap

  • Golfers-only pre-tournament lunch

  • Assigned Locker

  • Complimentary use of the driving range one (1) hour prior to play

  • Scorecard

  • Access to the guest locker room and changing facilities

  • One Round of Texas Scramble Golf

  • Shared Electric Golf Cart stocked with snacks, water, and beer

  • Complimentary cocktails on the Course

  • One hour of post-golf cocktails, as well as free-flow beer and wine

  • Awards Dinner with an international buffet

AAS has a reputation for offering some great prizes to our golfers. Not only do we have prizes for the winners, but we also celebrate the novelty holes. Prizes are awarded for Beat the Pro, Closest to the Line, Closest to the Hole, and Hole in One.
