AAS hosts the biggest American events in the country as well as a bunch of other smaller get togethers throughout the year. You'l get weekly emails with all the happenings, not only AAS events, but other American organization events as well as fun things happening in Singapore.

Get yourself a copy of Living in Singapore. AAS has published this reference guide for almost 40 years. It's chock-full of all you need to know to adjust to life here. If you're already in Singapore, order a hard copy– or you can order a digital copy from Amazon anywhere in the world.

Once you arrive, the best thing to do is join a few organization and see what fits well. Below are the other American organizations that might interest you, many of which AAS began.

  • American Women’s Association (then American Women’s Auxiliary)  (1935)

  • The American Club (1948)

  • Singapore American School  (1956)

  • American Chamber of Commerce (then American Business Committee) (1969)

  • Singapore American Community Action Council  (SACAC)  (1973)

  • Boy Scouts of America Troop 07 (1986)

  • American Dragons dragon boat team (2005)
