Causes for Animals Singapore

Causes for Animals (Singapore) Limited is an animal welfare charity set up to support the needs of local animal welfare in Singapore. We employ programs and policies to promote best practice, ethical, sustainable, and compassionate treatment of these animals.

Get started and keep Singapore clean with the CleanPod today! It is a community-based resource that organisations, schools and communities can rely on to reinforce the value of environmental ownership for corporate social responsibility (CSR) and educational opportunities. This way, we can help keep our environment clean in a more convenient, cost-efficient and sustainable manner.

Dress for Success

The mission of Dress for Success® Singapore is to empower women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire, and development tools to help them thrive at work and in life. In Singapore, we serve clients through referral, who come from a spectrum of social service agencies, including community welfare organisations, women's shelters, voluntary welfare organisations, and educational institutions.

Food from the Heart

Food from the Heart is a non-profit organisation that feeds those in need through its food distribution programmes. It was established in February 2003 after Singapore-based Austrian couple Henry and Christine Laimer read a report in The Sunday Times about bakeries discarding their unsold bread. Stirred, they then decided to channel surplus food from bakeries to those in need.

Food from the Heart started with 120 volunteers in 2003. Our volunteers have since multiplied to over 10,000, and together we reached close to 64,000 beneficiaries across Singapore in 2024.

Habitat for Humanity

Habitat Singapore is part of the international Habitat non-profit organisation that seeks to eliminate poverty housing worldwide. Convinced that safe and affordable housing provides a path out of poverty, we have been working alongside low-income communities to increase their access to improved living conditions.

Since 2004, Habitat Singapore has regularly sent volunteer teams to build decent and affordable houses across the Asia-Pacific. Locally, we provide an intensive home rehabilitation program for vulnerable individuals and families, enabling them to have a safe and sanitary place to call home.

Habitat for Humanity Singapore has been approved as an Institution of a Public Character (IPC), effective 15 September 2025 to 14 March 2027.

ItsRainingRaincoats

ItsRainingRaincoats (IRR) is an initiative that aims to improve the lives of migrant workers in Singapore, by building bridges to strengthen their integration into our community, city, and country. We employ authentic and nimble strategies to enhance the quality of life for our workers and make them feel valued, appreciated, safe, and welcome in Singapore. Our raincoat emblem symbolizes the protection we provide them from their metaphorical thunderstorms.

Krsna's Free Meals

Krsna's Free Meals (previously Krishna's Kitchen) is a soup kitchen in Singapore run by like-minded volunteers who are compassionate and determined to serve those in need.

Krsna's Free Meals serves free breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily. To date, we have distributed over 10,000,000 meals.
