Come get to know the real Singapore!

Singaporeans have a unique identity due to their ancestral background from different countries and cultures. This tour takes you beyond the city, away from the modern skyscrapers and shopping malls to see places that are not found in travel guides. It's a cultural journey to two different, off-the-beaten-track local neighborhoods in Singapore. You'll get to explore, learn, eat, drink, meet local Singaporeans and experience how they live their everyday lives.. 

We begin the tour in the neighborhood of Ang Mo Kio, with a little known hobby that transcended the kampong era: appreciating birds singing. Brighten your morning with melodious chirps, followed by a visit to the local hawker center for coffee like a true local. The local exploration continues with a trip to a wet market to see where the locals shop for the freshest produce.

After visiting the first neighborhood, we will proceed to another district, Toa Payoh where we will experience the hustle and bustle of a local town center.  We will see an impressive tree shrine and get to visit an HDB show flat to get an idea of the housing where 80% of the local population lives. 

This is a great family event and we welcome children of all ages to join. If they are 12 years and above, they would need to be fully vaccinated.
