About the Event
Join AAS, AmCham and USA Girl Scouts Overseas for a special screening of Defining Moments, a moving documentary that explores the extraordinary life and leadership of Presidential Medal of Freedom recipient Frances Hesselbein — the trailblazing former CEO of the Girl Scouts of the USA and one of the most influential voices in modern leadership. From her groundbreaking work in transforming the Girl Scouts to her legacy of values-based leadership, the film captures the quiet power and profound impact of a woman who redefined what it means to lead with purpose.
Following the screening, stay for a hybrid Q&A session with Executive Producer Sarah McArthur, who will share behind-the-scenes insights into the making of the film and reflect on Frances' enduring influence in leadership. The conversation will be moderated by our local Girl Scouts. This event is free.
