About the Event
This is a very special opportunity to bring joy to those who are in the final months of life by providing a bit of normalcy and fun to those who struggle with public outings due to mobility and health challenges. WHAT WILL I DO? Arrive in the morning and go through a brief training about what to expect. Then gently help transform the hospice community space—decorating the room and setting up our little “store” for this special Hari Raya celebration. Alongside the caring Dover Park Hospice team, you’ll warmly welcome outpatients arriving from all across Singapore for a day created just for them. Spend time over tea and easy conversation, help them browse and choose care items and treats from our special shop, and then gather together for a shared meal—simple moments of joy and connection before they head home, hearts a little fuller.
