Kok Fah Technology Farm Tour

Did you know  that Singapore is home to some local vegetable and dairy farms? These are mostly located in Lim Chu Kang and Sungei Tengah, and occupy less than 1% of our total land area. 

Discover and learn what goes on beyond the vegetables you see in the supermarket as we go on a guided hydroponics greenhouse farm tour at Kok Fah Technology Farm (KFTF) on Sunday, October 24, at 10am. Learn about the new and old ways of farming, and the secret methods used by the farmers to grow their vegetables. See how aloe vera is extracted and quench your thrist with a honey aloe vera drink included in the tour. 

In addition to the tour, each participant will be guided to pot our own microgreens, which we will be able to bring home with us. 

After the tour, take a browse and pick up some farm fresh vegetables at KFTF's weekend market, which opens every Saturday and Sunday from 9am to 5pm. Get your hands on freshly local grown vegetables, exotic vegetables, seasonal fruits and traditional dried goods!  Before you leave our farm, don’t forget to bade farewell to KFTF's fish, ducks, parrots and more…!

Due to Covid restrictions, this event will be open to a maximum of 20 participants only. During the tour, participants will be divided into groups of 2 (or per the number mandated by the Singapore Government at the time of the tour) to adhere to safe distancing measures. Children two and under are free, but will contribute to  the particpant count. Please let us know if you plan on bringing any children two and under on the tour with you.

ABOUT KFTF

KFTF is a local family-owned business that has been selling leafy vegetables in Singapore for the past 40 years.  All the leafy vegetables produced by KFTF are grown within their greenhouses. The greenhouse technology is essential for growing as it maximize and ensures the growth of healthy and high-quality leafy vegetables.
