TEAM AAS Softball Team

Baseball is as American as apple pie! So join our softball team and play for the AAS ADULT team!

SCHEDULE

The schedule is every Sunday, February 12th weekly through the last game on Sunday, May 28th.

Games start at 1pm at UWC East campus in Tampines. There are two fields. Teams will play 2 matches (4 teams) simultaneously at 13:00, 14:00, 15:00.

Our first game will be February 12, 1pm.

Many teams typically head back to SOS after for a few beers. SOS is the League sponsor and the owner is American - great guy!

You'll be playing other teams in Singapore. Basically? This is a super fun way to meet others!!

OUR TEAM

Currently, we have a team of men and women signed up which is great! But we need a few more players so we have a deep enough bench so people can miss the occasional Sunday.

MEMBERSHIP

You do not need to be American to play for us. However, we do ask that you join the American Association of Singapore or The American Club as we are paying the $3k sponsor fee. This paid membership is $120 for the year and is a family membership that gets you deep discounts on all sorts of events and so much more. Find out more here. LEAGUE FEES

Depending on numbers, each player pays approximately $100 for the field for the season. The League has this in place to make people accountable for showing up.

EQUIPMENT

For equipment, the league provides bats, balls and everything needed for the field (bases, etc).  Each player brings their own glove. I'm pretty sure you can buy these at Decathalon.

JERSEYS

Jerseys will be provided by the league, paid for by AAS with the AAS logo on the front. Our team will be - what else? Red, white and blue!

SPONSOR

Each sponsor typically pays for about S$2k to $3k which the American Association is willing to front to get the team going. This can be used for equipment, additional merch (hats, etc), team events, donations, etc. As a team, you can decide what you want this money to be spent on.

HISTORY

AAS has long been involved with baseball and softball in Singapore. We started the Singapore Baseball Association in 1934!  So we really want to make this team happen!

HOW TO JOIN
