It is not unusual for expatriates who originally intended to remain in Singapore for only the duration of their employment to stay on a more permanent basis. While different factors will motivate an expatriate to consider applying for Singapore Permanent Residence (PR) status, many may not have considered the full implications of becoming a PR.

Join us for this talk, led by Asha Dixit, and learn more about the current trends and updates. There will be time for Q&A, so please come with your questions!

About the Speaker:
Asha Dixit moved to Singapore as a trailing spouse in 1997 and decided to get the formal accounting qualifications she never had the time to complete earlier. She graduated and became an affiliate of The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) in 2000.

In early 2001 she decided to buy a small practice and build her own business from the ground up. Her company Money Matters For Expats Pte Ltd (now rebranded as Acclime Singapore Pte Ltd) has been growing steadily, through her hard work and perseverance as well as her strong sense of commitment and expertise imparted to clients and her team too.

Over the years, she has garnered incredible experience helping many expatriates to set up their business in Singapore, help with issues for their working and staying status, tax and, of course, accounting.

Her warm personality and approach has won over people throughout the years, of whom many have become close friends and business associates. This has become an integral part of the business as most referrals have been done through word of mouth rather than advertisements.
