About the Role
This is a part-time remote role in Singapore for an Event Manager. The Event Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end planning and execution of AAS events, including annual marquee events, social and community-building activities, and networking gatherings. Responsibilities involve coordinating logistics, managing budgets, liaising with vendors and sponsors, and ensuring each event reflects the organization's mission and standards. The Event Manager will also work closely with the team to develop engaging event programs and foster strong relationships with community partners and stakeholders.
Qualifications
Proven experience in Event Planning and Coordination
Strong Organizational and Project Management skills
Effective Communication and Interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Budget Management and Vendor Relations
Creativity in Event Conceptualization and Program Development
Familiarity with Social Media Promotion and Marketing
Problem-Solving ability and a Strong Attention to Detail
Deep understanding of American culture
Experience in working within non-profit organizations, expat communities, or multicultural environments is a plus
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree
5 years event management experience
Ability to work in Singapore; no Employment Pass provided
