Thanksgiving Feast & Fun
Thanksgiving is an iconic American holiday and one we celebrate with gusto here in Singapore! For years, AAS has hosted a Thanksgiving event of some sort. We've had dinners, Turkey Trots and even a fancy event on a tall ship in 2021. This 2022? We had a giant, family get together. Such fun! And we'll be doing the same thing in 2023 on November 19. Yay!
About the Event
Come boggle up the fun and stuff yourself silly. Americans, non-Americans, family, friends, children, and people you meet on the street were all welcome to share in our special family celebration!
Thanksgiving is one of the most iconic American holidays so we are celebrating right with an all-American event. Our 2023 event will be co-hosted by the American Association of Singapore (AAS) and American Women's Association (AWA) held at the beautiful campus of XCL American Academy (XAA), the event's sponsor.
THE FOOD
We will have a massive feast with all the traditional dishes: turkey, stuffing, potatoes, sweet potatoes, veggies, pumpkin pie, apple pie and more! Brown-Forman will also be on hand making special cocktails for the event.

THE CRAFTS
Kids of all ages will enjoy crafts galore, keeping them busy and reinforcing the message of giving thanks. And these aren't those crafts you get in plastic bags either. Nope! These are the real deal, folks: special crafts the way you made them when you were a kid back in the States. And the USA Girl Scouts Overseas will be on hand to help out, too.
FOOD DRIVE
We will be hosting a food items to donate to Food From the Heart.
