Ramadan Ramble: Walking tour with food sampling

Wander through some of the lesser-known paths and alleys of the Muslim area of Kampong Glam and hear fascinating snippets of information. Visit the ‘Leaning Mosque of Singapore’ and learn about the history of the area which was once the abode of the Malay Kings who ruled Singapore. Why was Singapore sold? Who were the men behind the deal? Along the way, we will come across various interesting businesses, including an antique shop with lots of knick knacks and another with exotic perfumes. We will pass by areas where tombstone carvers and blacksmiths once plied their trades, now filled with restaurants and businesses.
