This year, the George Washington Ball is supporting Over-the-Rainbow (OTR), a charity that works to improve youth mental health wellness. OTR's mission is to transform mental wellness for the 21st century. They envision a world where mental illness is no longer stigmatized; where mental wellness is a life priority; and where every young person has the opportunity to realize their full potential through the journey of self-discovery, healing and transformation via holistic self-care and a supportive community. A family tragedy in 2009 became the catalyst for the initiative that is Over-The-Rainbow. Chinese Americans Yen-Lu and Yee Ling Chow lost their son and only child Lawrance H. Chow to suicide on October 22, 2009. Lawrence was only 26, but had suffered from manic-depression for many years. Over-the-Rainbow is the story of how these grieving parents turned their loss into championing an important cause.

Support the charity by purchasing a Double Fortune Coin for our Money Tree!  Net proceeds from the coins will go straight to our charity. It's a fantastic way to join the spirit of the event and give back directly to those  in need.

Receive a personalized lucky coin on our Money Tree. Then take home a beautiful metal coin in a personalized case and see your name in the event program. And your name will also be featured in the Living in Singapore magazine!

And anybody who buys a coin will be entered into a lucky draw to win an American Gold Eagle produced by the United States Mint. Its classic obverse design features Lady Liberty walking confidently against the sun’s rays, while a family of American eagles appears on the reverse.Minted at West Point, N.Y., and guaranteed by the United States government, this Gold bullion coin has a symbolic face value of $5, but is worth more than $400.

Making your donation go further is an incredible matching gift from Coinbase!! For every Double Fortune Coin purchased, Coinbase will match funds up to $8,888! Double Fortune indeed!  Coinbase is building the cryptoeconomy – a more fair, accessible, efficient, and transparent financial system enabled by crypto. Coinbase Singapore, started in 2018, is regulated by the MAS and provides localized access to Singapore residents for consumer, institutional and developer solutions.
