Back when I first arrived in Singapore more than ten years ago, a good turkey seemed more challenging to find. Now? There's a plethora of delicious places to find your perfect bird and all the sides.

Good ol' Cold Storage has all the frozen Butterball turkeys you need. Turkey prices are lower than last year thanks to more turkeys being available. Last year's bird flu is a distant memory, thank goodness.

For Thanksgiving and Christmas, check out whole birds are stuffed with sourdough apricot and sage and roasted to order before being served with cranberry apple compote and turkey gravy. Roasting a turkey yourself?
It can be a bit overwhelming to roast a turkey far from family by your side to give you advice. No worries. Just check out all the advice on the Butterball website.
Anybody for pie?
Pies are trickier to find than turkeys, but a few places have come onto the scene in the past couple of years that makes picking up dessert a bit easier.
Elijah's Pies
If you're looking for something different other than traditional pumpkin or pecan, Elijah's Pies is a must-try. Bring a little Singapore to your table with a pandan coconut pie or a yuzu meringue.
PS Cafe
You'd be hard pressed to find a better apple pie than the one at PS Cafe. And if you aren't into just pie, check out some of their other famous desserts, too -– like their absolutely fabulous sticky date pudding.
Windowsill Pies
Don't tell my grandmother, but Windowsill Pies are just as good as hers and a heck of a lot easier as I don't have to personally whip together a pumpkin bourbon or pecan pie.
Yardbird
Again, it's hard to be a good, southern recipe. Yardbird has delicious and beautiful pumpkin or pecan pies which are sure to please your crowd.
