Volunteer opportunity: Block Walk 2024

Please join the American Association of Singapore and Stamford American International School on Saturday, May 11 for our annual Block Walk around the neighborhood of Potong Pasir to support Singapore's mission to bring clean and safe living environments in the home and beyond. By volunteering in Block Walk, we learn what it means to care for our own living space beyond the four corners of our home.

This is a super activity for kids to learn to give back to their community. So gather your family, friends and colleagues for this event. It's a great way to spend some time together while helping the community.

Supplies for the clean up sponsored by Stamford American International School will be provided.  

Why do this?

We all think of Singapore as this beautiful, clean city, right? Truth is, keeping it that way takes a lot of work! Littering continues to be a perennial issue year after year. Singapore's dream to be a clean garden city is only made possible due to an army of cleaners islandwide. So please pitch in and help!
