Leveraging your Networks – Art and Science

Networking involves building, maintaining and growing your contacts and relationships with other people. The personal networks which you accumulate over time, both socially and professionally can be an invaluable resource.  This applies whether you are an entrepreneur looking to start and grow your own new venture, whether you are looking for a job in a new city, or working on a project where external ideas and input can help.

However, networking does not come naturally to everyone – in fact it can be quite hard!

In times of change, transition and physical relocation – it can seem like a very daunting task indeed.

Learning Objectives:

  • Practical guidance, tools, tips and personal anecdotes to help you network better and more effectively
  • Identify weak vs strong networks
  • Leveraging social contacts
