AAS and Foodwalkers present what is sure to be another unforgettable evening of local dining. Foodwalker founder, Kevin F. Cox, and the foodies of AAS will take you on a culinary experience that is sure to please the eyes and the palate. Guests will walk to 3 different venues to enjoy various traditional dishes, which they will be encouraged to eat with their hands. Deepavali, also known as the “Festival of Lights”, marks the beginning of the Hindu New Year. To mark celebration of the Deepavali, “Little India” on Serangoon Road is decorated with elaborate lights, garlands and colorful arches. Festive bazaar stalls fill the side streets selling fragrant flowers, garlands, traditional oil lamps, trinkets, beautiful clothing and home wares.
