A unique opportunity to enjoy a light breakfast and listen to Rear Adm. Carney discuss the U.S. Navy's role in Singapore and the function of COMLOG WESTPAC.
Rear Adm. Carney, has served in cruisers and destroyers in both the Atlantic and Pacific Fleets. While ashore, Carney has served as an instructor at the U.S. Naval Academy; in the Bureau of Naval Personnel in the Surface Placement branch; as the branch head for Policy, Requirements and Assessments in the Office of the Director of Surface Warfare; as deputy director for Investment and Development in the Navy Budget Office; as the branch head for the Program-Budget Analysis Division on the Joint Staff and as the director of the Navy Appropriations Office. His most recent assignment was on the staff of commander, U.S. Pacific Fleet as deputy chief of staff for Plans, Policies, and Requirements (N5/N8).
Carney has been awarded the Defense Superior Service Medal, Legion of Merit (four awards), Meritorious Service Medal (four awards), Joint Service Commendation Medal, the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (three awards), as well as various unit and campaign awards.
COMLOG WESTPAC Singapore
Commander, Logistics Group, Western Pacific (COMLOG WESTPAC) was set up in Singapore as the coordinator for bilateral exercise and an agent for principal logistics, for the Seventh Fleet of the US in Southeast Asia-Pacific. The Seventh Fleet Area of Operations cover more than 51 million square miles of the Pacific and Indian Oceans, and the ships deployed here are restocked and taken care of by COMLOG WESTPAC.

Anyone who does not register for an event by the indicated closing registration date/time, will be subject to an additional fee of $10.
AAS reserves the right to cancel events. In the case of cancellation, registrants can opt to attend another event or receive a full refund.
If registrants contact AAS at least 24 hours prior to the event start time to make a cancellation, he/she will be issued a credit that can be applied to any same priced event within the following 90 days. In the case of a no-show on the day of event, no credit will be issued.
